The staff, especially Srima, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel like part of the family. The rooms were well-equipped with amenities like AC, a fan, and a balcony, and the common areas were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance of major attractions and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Additionally, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax. I also appreciated the flexibility in check-in and check-out times, as well as the option to store luggage after check-out.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

During my Christmas stay, I really liked the clean and well-maintained dorm room. the air conditioning and fans were effective in keeping the room cool and comfortable. the common area provided a nice atmosphere for socializing and hanging out with other guests. the hostel's location was convenient as it was close to key venues, shops, and restaurants.
There were a few downsides to my Christmas stay. the wifi was unreliable, which was a bit frustrating.

the hostel had a fantastic backpacker vibe, with lots of interesting people coming and going. the woman who runs the place was very friendly and welcoming. I loved the included breakfast every morning , simple but good, with toast, omelette, banana, papaya. the hostel was cheap and reliable, making it a great choice for budget travelers. the mattresses were very comfortable and the bunk beds were of high quality. Each room had balconies, adding to the overall charm. the staff was super friendly, well, informed, and very helpful. the manager's excellent English made communication easy. the hostel was always full of cool and diverse people. the neighborhood was quiet at night, and there were cheap local food options within a five, minute walk.
I would definitely recommend Backpackers Paradise. Cons: No complaints.

The location of the hostel was hidden and not well signposted, making it difficult to find. Mosquitoes were a problem in the shared double-decker beds, causing sleepless nights. the breakfast provided was basic but sufficient. the toilets were clean and some rooms had ensuites. the hostel had a small dining area with a TV and the price was reasonable considering the expensive city.
The communal bathroom was smelly and lacked hygiene, with no hot water available.

The dormitory rooms at Backpackers Paradise Colombo offer a fantastic view of the city. I really enjoyed waking up to the bustling streets and colorful buildings outside my window. It added a unique charm to my stay as a guest with disabilities.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom. It can be a bit inconvenient at times, especially for guests with disabilities.

I recently stayed at Backpackers Paradise and it was definitely worth the money. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities like AC, fan, and even a balcony. The location was great, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions like Viharamahadevi park and the national museum. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay, especially Srima who treated everyone like family.
Menu for breakfast could be more varied.
